FOX 4 has once again chosen Allen Event Center as a live broadcast and drop off location for Toys for Tots. This year’s donation drive will take place on Thursday, December 10 from 5- 10:30 p.m. Over 16,000 toys were collected at Allen Event Center last year in only five hours during the annual drive, and FOX 4 News and the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve hope to break the record again this year.
New, unwrapped toys and monetary donations will be collected at Allen Event Center throughout the evening. FOX 4 News will broadcast live from 5-6:30 p.m. and 9-10:30 p.m.
Volunteering alongside the Marines will be students from Allen High School’s Junior ROTC program. The program’s Color Guard will help kick off the event.
FOX 4 has chosen Allen Event Center as a live broadcast and drop off location for Toys for Tots since 2010 with more than 35,000 toys being collected over five years.
