Allen Event Center is proud to partner once again with FOX 4 and the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve for the annual Toys for Tots donation drive. This year’s drive will take place from 5-10 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 8.
“We are always honored to be part of this special event,” said Brian Nickerson, Marketing Coordinator at Allen Event Center. “Last year, the community donated over 10,000 toys to help brighten the holidays for Allen’s less fortunate children.”
New, unwrapped toys and monetary donations will be collected at Allen Event Center throughout the evening. FOX 4 News will broadcast live from 5-6:30 p.m. and 9-10:30 p.m.
Volunteering alongside the Marines will be students from Allen High School’s Junior ROTC program.
Fox 4 has chosen Allen Event Center as a live broadcast and drop off location for Toys for Tots since 2010 with more than 45,000 toys collected over six years.
