One of the most popular polling locations in Collin County has moved to a new Allen location to accommodate large voter turnout and improve social distancing. Registered Collin County voters can visit Allen Event Center on Election Day (November 3). The Municipal Court polling location on the Allen City Hall campus will not be used for the November 3 election.
The new polling location at Allen Event Center is considered a Mega Vote Center, as it can hold a large number of machines and handle large turnout at polling booths positioned throughout the spacious concourse. Free voter parking will be available in Allen Event Center’s South Parking Garage near the intersection of Andrews Parkway and Event Center Drive (see map below).
In addition to state and national races, Allen voters will vote for Mayor and Allen City Council Place 2 during the November 3 election.
Collin County voters may cast their ballot at any Collin County voting location on Election Day, including the Allen ISD Service Center (1451 North Watters Road) or Allen Event Center (200 E Stacy Road).
Additional polling locations in Allen will be open on Election Day only: Chandler Elementary School (1000 Water Oak Drive), Christ the Servant Lutheran Church (821 S. Greenville Avenue), Curtis Middle School (1530 Rivercrest Boulevard), Dillard Special Achievement Center (601 Main Street), Evans Elementary School (1225 Walnut Springs Drive), Ford Middle School (630 Park Place Drive), Lovejoy ISD Administration Building (259 Country Club Road) and Preston Elementary School (2455 Hilliard Drive).
