The next generation of basketball stars are bound for Dallas as Gold Level Sports & Entertainment and Three-Time NBA champion Danny Green present The Battle Basketball Showcase on November 20 & 21 at Allen Event Center. The Battle high school basketball showcase will feature six elite high school teams with their respective nationally ranked players competing head to head. The marquee matchup of the event will be Lebron "Bronny" James Jr (Trailblazers - Sierra Canyon, CA) versus Emoni Bates (YPSI Prep Academy - MI). Bates, the first high school sophomore prospect to win the prestigious National Player of the Year Award, will face a tough test against the mighty Trailblazers of Sierra Canyon. The Battle will be the only time these high-profile teams will compete this season, and these competitions will be talked about for years to come.

"Once it was announced these kids would lose their AAU Basketball season, our team made a decision that we had to show up for them now more than ever. Darren and our team were able to gather the best high school talents in the country, and we wanted to
create a special opportunity for the players at The Battle," said Los Angeles Lakers, Danny Green.

“Our priority was to make sure we follow state guidance and that we work hand-in-hand with our venue to create a plan all parties are comfortable moving forward with. Once we were able to do that, our team worked tirelessly to put together some of the most sought-after games in high school basketball history. The combination of individual talent and team acclaim is what makes this a must-see, unmissable event. The Battle is all about competition and culture, and this year, we’re raising the bar,” said Gold Level
Sports & Entertainment CEO, Darren Duncan.

The Battle 2020 will feature some of the top teams throughout the country. Due to rule changes in the State of California, all teams will be competing as club teams, and some programs will use alias names.

This is a limited capacity event with POD Seating to enable a safe seating environment. POD Seating is available in select section groupings of 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 seats. You must purchase all tickets in a selected POD grouping.

Tickets to The Battle go on sale this Friday, October 23, at 12 p.m. at TheBattleOfficial.comTicketmaster.com, or by calling 800-745-3000. Tickets start at $25.
