United Athletic Conference Basketball Tournaments Coming to CUTX Event Center

Credit Union of Texas Event Center has been selected to host the United Athletic Conference Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournaments for three consecutive years, beginning in 2027.

The first tournaments will take place March 10–14, 2027, bringing UAC student-athletes, teams and fans from across the conference to Allen, Texas, for five days of championship basketball.

The multi-year partnership adds another major sporting event to the calendar at CUTX Event Center and provides an opportunity to welcome visitors to Allen while showcasing the venue as a destination for collegiate and championship competition.

CUTX Event Center has a long history of bringing sports and entertainment together under one roof, and we look forward to creating a memorable championship experience for the athletes, coaches and fans who will join us in Allen.

“We are thrilled to bring the UAC Basketball Championships to Allen, Texas, and the Credit Union of Texas Event Center,” UAC Commissioner Jeff Bacon said in the conference’s announcement. “This venue and community provide an outstanding setting for our student-athletes, coaches and fans, and we look forward to creating a first-class championship experience together.”

The 2027 tournaments will mark the beginning of a three-year run for UAC basketball at CUTX Event Center, with additional details regarding schedules, tickets and fan information to be announced as the event approaches.
